Santa will join us for a 45 minute excursion.
The trips are sponsored by the Old Dominion Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society. The organization is committed to preserving Virginia rail history and to sharing it with the public. The James River rambler's diesel engine dates to the 1950's and the passenger cars to the 1920's.
Trains run rain or shine.
In accordance with federal law, restrooms are available on board.
Tickets are transferable. No refunds.
Boarding begins approximately 15 minutes before departure.
No smoking aboard.
Chapter and Railroad reserve the right to substitute equipment or alter schedules as operating conditions warrant.
Photos from trip may be used by the Old Dominion Chapter for publicity purposes.
Due to the rural location of the excursion, cash or check required for on board purchases (food/souvenirs).
Limited handicapped accessibility due to the narrow aisles of the vintage cars.
