This family friendly three-hour round-trip traverses Buckingham County and features an amazing view of the rushing waters below from the James River Bridge at Bremo Bluff.  It is presented by the Old Dominion Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society and operates on the Buckingham Branch Railroad.  The ODC is a non-profit dedicated to preserving, presenting and operating historic railroad equipment.

Restrictions

Trains run rain/snow or shine.  Ticket purchases are non-refundable (but, can be transferred) and are good only for the date and time shown on the ticket.  All seating is general admission on a first-come, first-served basis.  Some seats are in closed-window coach (heated/air conditioned), some are in openable-window coach (heated) and some are in covered open-air cars.  In the event of trip cancelation due to events beyond control, the ODC will contact ticketholders with ticket exchange options. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before scheduled departure.  Boarding begins at least 15 minutes before departure.  All passengers two years or older must have tickets.  Children under two may ride free with paying passenger if they do not occupy a seat. No smoking, alcohol or firearms on the train.  There are restrooms, snacks and souvenirs onboard.  By using this ticket, you are agreeing to allow us to take pictures of you for use in future news and marketing efforts. Railroads can be dangerous places.  Do not walk on or between the rails. Please follow all signage and instructions, keep all children under your control and look both ways before crossing railroad tracks.
